Our Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully. These are the terms that will govern any contract between you and us for the products and services that we provide. We may amend these terms from time to
time by placing appropriate notification at the bottom of this page. The agreement for services and goods is between Wedding Gems Ltd and the customer, not the venue, unless goods are being hired directly by the venue.
Within out terms and conditions, where we refer to owner, we, us, or our, we refer to the supplier of the goods, Wedding Gems Ltd
Within out terms and conditions, where we refer to you and your, we refer to the customer hiring and commisioning our goods.
Within out terms and conditions, when refering to goods, order, or services, this refers to all equipment hired, commisioned, or sold by us to you, the customer.
All hired goods remain the property of WeddingGems Ltd. The customer is responsible for the hired goods during the period of hire.
By accepting the quotation and making a payment, we will consider you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.
All prices quoted include Value Added Tax at the current provailing rate.
Once we have recieved our administrative fee we will secure your booking. This is a non-refundable element of our service to cover all preparatory work.
Orders and services will be provided on condition that full payment has been recieved for such, as specified within your invoice.
Final payment is require in full 4 weeks prior to the event, and if not recieved we will presume that our services are no longer required.
We can accept last minute orders depending on availability. Full payment is required at time of booking for orders required within 4 weeks.
We will charge you for any costs incurred due to our terms and conditions being broken. It is your responsibility to reclaim any of these costs from a 3rd party if they are at fault.
Shortages and damages to hired goods will be charges at full replacement value and delivery cost. No substitute item will be accepted by us. We will inform you within 7 days, by written communication, of any
damages and costs concerning any of the hired goods.
We accept Bank transfers, Cash, Paypal payments, Face to face Card payments, and Cheque, with cheques made payable to 'Wedding Gems Limited'.
We are happy to accept multiple payments towards your invoice should that be preferrable.
In the unusual circumstance that we will charge for deivery we will discuss such charge and outline it within your invoice.
Unless otherwise stated, all of our products and services include delivery and collection from the agreed location.
Amendments, Returns, and Cancellations
For any items purchased from us: if you are not satisfied with the item(s) you receive, they may be returned to Wedding Gems. All items returned must be as new, as you
received them, and free from any alteration. The safe return of cancelled items are the responsibility of the you and must be returned in their original (and re-sellable) condition.
You have the right to cancel an order of purchased products within 7 working days starting the day after the receipt of the item(s). Note: This does not apply to services or personalised products.
Where you exercises your right to cancel, a full refund will be payable within 30 days. Please e-mail us,remembering to include details of your order. This does not affect your statutory rights.
For goods and services for hire: Items cannot be cancelled if they have been specifically created (e.g. printed or handwritten) for you. Booking alterations will be accepted up to 4 weeks prior
to the event taking place. Please inform us in writing, examples of which are by email, facebook, or via the enquiry form on our website. We will acknowledge the changes to the original booking along
with issuing a revised quotation within 7 days. Final quantity requirements must be advised no later than 4 weeks prior to the event taking place.
Cancellation made prior to 4 weeks before the date of your event will attract a cancellation charge. Please notify us in writing and we will acknowledge by email within 7 days.
Cancellation within 4 weeks of the event date are non refundable.
Wedding Gems adhere to strict guidelines as stipulated in the GDPR act relating to the storage and use of your data. Your information is used solely for establishing contact if you have expressed an
interest in our services, maintaining contact, processing orders, and for feedback. If you have a preference for how we should contact you then please let us know.
Your details are not shared with any third party in any circumstances unless deemed critical to the provision of your order.
We reserve the right to take images of our work, and from time to time we may use our images on social media, our website, and for marketing. If you would like us to consider the use of our images of
the products and services we have provided to you in this manner please contact us.
You can check the information we hold about you by e-mailing us at any time, stating your request within the email body.
Our products and services will be provided to you as agreed, and stipulated on your invoice. Any communication recieved from you will be accepted as a request, and we will confirm
these details by return.
For personalised goods, we require written confirmation of layouts and spelling, and all details are copied as we receive them - letter by letter. Please check all spelling and grammar to ensure you are 100%
happy before you instruct us to proceed. Wedding Gems does not accept liability for inaccuracies passed from you (the customer) to us, and if an amendment is requested this will require additional work and therefore
attract an amendment fee, which we will inform you of accordingly.
We hold full public liability insurance and all our electrical products are regularly PAT tested.
Any contract between us will be governed by British law and will be subject to the jurisdiction of the British Courts.
All copyright of the material, designs, documents, site design, graphics and codes contained on this web site or linked to it
and the selection and arrangement thereof are owned by Wedding Gems, or the publishers of those sites to which this web site links. All rights are reserved. You are
entitled to electronically copy and to print in hard copy sections of this web site for the sole purpose of placing an order with Wedding Gems Ltd.
including photocopying, modifying and/or distributing any pages/parts printed off this web site for purposes other than those noted above, without our prior written consent, is strictly prohibited.
There have been no amendments to our policy within the last 90 days.
For the avoidance of doubt and for absolute clarity nothing in these terms or any contract between us will confer on any third party any
benefits or the right to enforce any of these terms or any such contract whether pursuant to the Contracts Act 1999.
